Lifelong passion for fashion retail combined with the arrival of my beautiful baby boy spurred me on to realise my dream of working for myself in the most exciting industry.

Diamonds and Pearls are also destination bridal specialists, we can advise on styles that work with a tropical back drop and fabrics that will travel well and also how to transport your gown.
We also provide a Free of charge, fresh and press service for your UK reception.

Wedding dresses are such a personal thing and with the gowns being bespoke each and everyone is unique, however our organza gowns are proving very popular this season.
What tip would you give couples starting the planning process?
Plan ahead, every bride I see is surprised how fast the the big day arrives and the last thing you need is to be pushed for time or stressed.
Do you prefer working with suppliers from your area?
When I opened Diamonds and Pearls Bridal I had such an overwhelming response from the local community I make it a core principal of the business to use only local suppliers.
How has the current market conditions affected your company and pricing?
Fortunately my section of the wedding industry has only been affected by approx -2%.
Research shows that although couples are spending less on their weddings The Dress is not an area for compromise, that said I am very sensitive to the current climate and price my gowns accordingly as I truly believe every bride should have the dress of her dreams regardless of budget.

I would like to say thank you to Colette and Corrie, it was wonderful to be involved in such a fab project and look forward to working together to make a lot of dreams come true for all our brides ( & grooms ) to be.
